What it is
Radical Red Rocket is my marketing and automation studio. Websites, analytics, SEO, AI workflows, chatbots, integrations — the unglamorous machinery that makes a business findable and its operations boring in the best way.
Why it exists
After ten-plus years of digital marketing across agencies and in-house teams, I kept watching the same movie: smart businesses paying for activity instead of outcomes, and marketing that evaporated the moment the retainer did. I wanted to build the opposite — a small shop that installs systems a client actually owns when we’re done.
It’s also the lab. Almost everything I write about sales, marketing, and automation gets field-tested here first, with real money and real consequences.
What I’m responsible for
Everything, mostly — strategy, the technical build, the AI workflows, and yes, the sales calls. Being a founder of a small studio means Experiment #001 isn’t theoretical. The habit I’m testing runs through the core of the business.
What I’ve learned
- Marketing is trust work with a delivery component. The technical part is table stakes; the hard part is being someone a business owner believes.
- Systems beat heroics. Playbooks and templates do the remembering so the work survives my bad weeks.
- Local business is a different sport than the startup marketing I grew up in. Shorter cycles, clearer feedback, zero tolerance for jargon.
